Free Speech and the Presidency

Obama the rodeo clown isn't funny according to the Missouri State Fair.

At a bull-riding competition over the weekend Missouri State Fair officials gave this clown the boot. Apparently the rodeo clown danced around in the ring and entertained the crowd for a while. At one point the announcer even asked the crowd if they'd like to see Obama get chased by some bulls.

While it sounds like some weird, possibly racist things were done (like bobbling the lips on the Obama mask) I'm not sure I see the harm here. People have worn presidential masks for years. Is there some sort of connotation about running from a bull I don't understand?
“The performance by one of the rodeo clowns at Saturday’s event was inappropriate and disrespectful, and does not reflect the opinions or standards of the Missouri State Fair,” the fair said in a written statement. “We strive to be a family friendly event and regret that Saturday’s rodeo badly missed that mark.”

The actor behind the circus clown has been given a lifetime ban from the fair.

Maybe he can land a gig at Fox News?
